Chlorine Institute members who produce, distribute or use chlorine certify that they will promote and demonstrate safety and security in the production, distribution, and use of chlorine in accordance with the Chlorine Institute’s mission. Additionally they certify that they have implemented and comply with the Institute’s Policy on Chlorine Safety and Security Stewardship with the ultimate goal of eliminating all chlorine incidents. This includes performing safety and security audits and hazard evaluations of chlor-alkali operations.
Know your customer. A good product stewardship program allows you to know who is buying and using your chemicals.
